• apartment (n) căn hộ, chung cư
• studio (n) căn hộ có diện tích nhỏ, không có sự phân chia rõ ràng giữa các phòng
• spacious (adj) rộng rãi
• to equip: trang bị
• necessity (n) tiện nghi
• to afford to do sth: có đủ tiền để trang trải/ mua cái gì

Một số cụm từ khác:

• fairly (adv) khá; a fairly adequate number of sth: một lượng khá đủ
• up to now = until now: cho đến giờ
• to classify: sắp xếp vào hệ thống; to be classified as: có thể được gọi là
• to bound: nhảy nhót
• to be frank: thật ra là, nói thật là

Bài mẫu chủ đề Home/Accommodation

1. Where are you living now?
Well, actually, at the moment, I’m living with my younger sister in a pretty small apartment. We couldn’t afford a more spacious living for both of us, because.. you know, it’s really expensive here. However, luckily, we could manage to equip our room with a fairly adequate number of necessities.

2. How long have you been living there?
Up to now, I would say, it has been around 4 years. However, there was an interval in between because I moved to the UK and had a course there for a while.

3. Which room do you like most in your house?
Oh, I actually love my all apartment because, you know, to be more exact, my apartment would be classified as a studio one, which means the living space, bedroom and bathroom are designed to be in a single space. So it is the only space I can bound around, to be frank.
